Robin Lucas Schregle

Mechanical & mechatronics engineer based in Munich, Germany. Currently pursuing my PhD at MIMED (Institute of Micro Technology and Medical Device Technology, TUM).

I like building things that make other things easier.

Most of my work is about turning ideas into working systems. This includes designing 3D parts, developing custom PCBs, writing firmware and small web tools, and building real prototypes using 3D printing, laser cutting, and metal fabrication.

In addition, I design and build CNC-based machines, including milling machines, 3D printers, and custom deposition systems for dental applications, mainly using LinuxCNC.

Recently, I have been focusing on implementing large language models for engineering workflows, particularly for CAD generation and local knowledge systems.

This site is a collection of projects, experiments, and thoughts along the way - partly as documentation, and partly because I’ve always found it valuable to see how others approach problems.
